In this role, you will be working as a Steel Estimator for a client that works in fabricating and installing structural steel, miscellaneous iron, and ornamental metals for the construction industry.

Duties

• Review all bid documents, drawings and specifications to become familiar with scope of work prior to starting scope letter and estimate
• Develop scope letter and send to general contractors prior to bid day
• Take of all material, labor and equipment using Fabtrol, Excel and company estimating standards

This position is a contract to possible permanent position and a long term need for my client. This position must work on site.

Pay: $30 - 45/hr

Requirements

• Structural or Miscellaneous Steel background required
• Must have proven experience in construction. Estimating and bidding preferred. 
• High School Diploma required.
• Familiar with estimating software (Fabtrol is a plus)
