In this role you will be working as an electro-mechanical design engineer for a company that works in the defense sector on major government contracts. You will be involved in the designing, developing, and testing electronic cables, harnesses and electro-mechanical assemblies. You will also be focused in the design of test control apparatus, evaluating operational systems and recommending modifications to the senior designer to enhance performance and meet system requirements.  

This is a temp to possible perm role. Hybrid and Remote schedules considered depending on experience level.

Requirements: 

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or similar field required 
• 0-5-10+ years of PCB design experience
• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics and assembly drawings.
• Knowledge or experience with IPC Standards is a huge plus
• 3D design experience required; Altium experience required for SR. ROLE.
• Knowledge or experience with Automated test equipment (ATE) and test instrumentation is beneficial
• Knowledge or experience with calipers, micrometers, scales, digital millimeters, network analyzers and oscilloscopes
• 10% travel to client sites required
• US Citizenship required
