This position involves reviewing structural drawings and specifications to prepare material and labor take-offs, coordinating with subcontractors, and developing accurate cost estimates for commercial steel projects.

This is a fully on-site, contract-to-possible-perm position.

Job Requirements:

• 5+ years of structural steel estimating experience

• Proficiency with Bluebeam software

• FabTrol experience is a plus

• Strong knowledge of structural steel materials, fabrication processes, and labor costs

• Experience developing detailed take-offs and pricing from construction documents

• Ability to assess bid specs, project requirements, and collaborate with vendors and subcontractors
