In this role, you will working as a Mechanical Engineer for a client that works in the military transportation industry. This position will be responsible for leading engineering for the military transportation product line from concept to production. This includes creating detailed 3D models, managing bill of materials, managing change requests, conduct root cause analysis and working with military and government personnel. 

This position is a DIRECT HIRE role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked ON-SITE.

Job Requirements

• BSME required
• Must be proficient with Solidworks or other 3D modeling software
• 3+ years of mechanical design experience preferably within the defense, transportation, or heavy equipment industry
• Experience creating Bill of Materials and managing engineering change requests
• Experience with root cause analysis
• Experience working with military or government contracts a plus
