This position is a Direct Hire role that is a long-term need for my client. This role must be worked ON-SITE. 

Job Qualifications: 

• 4–5 years of experience as a Pump Mechanic, Pump Technician, Millwright, or similar mechanical repair position.

• Hands-on experience with industrial pump assembly and disassembly.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and assembly drawings.

• Experience installing bearings, mechanical seals, shafts, sleeves, and impellers.

• Proficiency using precision measuring tools, including:

  • Calipers

  • Micrometers

  • Dial indicators

  • Feeler gauges

• Experience performing clearance measurements and verifying mechanical tolerances.

• Understanding of mechanical fits, alignments, and rotating equipment components.

• Ability to identify mechanical wear, damage, and component defects.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
